DWC Committee is thrilled to host the 7th Biennial Deaf Women New England Conference to empower and motivate deaf, hard of hearing, late deafened and deaf blind women from across all New England states and part of Northern US area; NY, NJ, and PA.

The conference will take place at the beautiful cozy Heritage Hotel, Spa & Golf Conference in Southbury, CT during the weekend of November 5, 6, & 7, 2010. "The Sweet Getaway" is the theme to encourage women to feel as confident in their energy and enthusiasm as they do willingly to face a tough economy.

At this present, June became the DWNE 2010 Chair, and had hosted several gatherings to invite some interested women to participate in the committee. The following women are Cassandra, Debbie S., Anita, Sue, Mary Ann, Laura, Margaret, Moe, Beth, Debbie B., Natayla, Michelle S., Misha, Judy, Karen, Robyn, Shirley and Patti. The committee names will be displayed for registration, slipper party, call for papers, chinese raffles, arts & crafts, candle ceremony, hospitality and tea afternoon luncheon at the conference contact page.

There will be upcoming fundraising event on July 18, 2010 to help raise monies for making this conference possible. The conference will be approaching real soon as we are now in the summer season.

Good news, date deadline extends to the latest August 2010 for presenters. Please send your presentation soon when you decide to get involved as presenter for the conference. For your info, at this present, we are gathering call for papers.
