Gals,CM and birthday candles

Just share this good word that I was honored when Alice, June and Margaret invited me to dinner at the Copper Beech Inn on June 16th to celebrate my 50th birthday. The dinner was so delicious! Feminists in
Celebration of 50th Birthday

Being 20th, we searched for our identities thru a series of trial and error experiment until we became Deaf women.

Being 30th, we were committed to goals for career, marriage, family and independence but we traveled apart away from each other.

Being 40th, we settled on but we were seeking for understanding, good friendship and happiness. In good time, we got together again in sharing, listening and supporting our lives.

Being 50th, we rediscovered ourselves as Deaf feminists.
